Our Weekly Bread: 16 of 36

Last week, I made cinnamon rolls from scratch. My KitchenAid stand-up mixer comes in handy for this particular recipe. Be forewarned, there are typos and grammatical errors in this recipe. However, they will not mess you up. It’s just a warning for people like me, who are sensitive to such things.

My family loved these rolls so much, they asked me why I do not make them more often. Not sure what the answer should be. Not even sure what the answer is. I suppose I will put cinnamon rolls on the imaginary cooking schedule in my head – about once a week, like pancakes.

The recipe calls for a lot of sugar. I cut the sugar in half and my family, who loves sugar, still thought they were a bit too rich. You are welcome.

A word about our Christmas break: I am disappointed we did not do more, but we did enough. It’s just me. I have a workoholic streak in me. We did relax and read lots of books (separately, not together). Devotional happened every day. Also, we ate well and stayed healthy. They had Science Olympiad training, violin lessons, piano lessons, and daily practice for their instruments. But it was a nice change of pace.
