November is here. A few years ago, somebody came up with NaNoWriMo – National Novel Writing Month. Then, NaNonFiWriMo was born – National NonFiction Writing Month. There’s also National Playwriting Month – NaPlWriMo – and a drawing challenge – NaNoDrawMo.

Bloggers came up with NaBloPoMo – National Blog Posting Month. Call me crazy, but I want to try it this year.

That’s right. I am going there. One blog post per day. For 30 days. Scary. Exciting. Fun.

You will still receive just one email per week from HomeschoolWays.com, by the way. It will just be a longer one, with seven blog posts.

After blogging for two years with an average of two posts per week, it is time to give daily blogging a try. This could be a game changer, of course. I may discover that it is actually achievable. I may get into the daily blogging habit beyond November. Or, I may burn out and want a long break through December. Eeek! I hope not. We’ll see. 

You don’t know if you can do something until you try. And by “you” I mean “I.” One thing is for sure, our homeschool is busy enough to give me things to write about. The question is, Do I have the discipline necessary for daily blog posts? Only time will tell. The next 30 days will tell, to be exact.

You can still expect my regular memes under Thankful Thursday, Wonderful Wednesday, Story Sunday and French Friday. Then, there will be other posts regarding our daily activities, Thanksgiving (of course!), homeschooling in general, socialization, photo posts, and even videos.

If you feel like reading, here’s the blog roll for NaBloPoMo November 2015. There will be a great variety, as this event is not just for homeschooling blogs. Just making sure you understood that.

Today being the first Sunday in November, it is also the day when we get to turn the clocks back one hour. So sleep in, homeschooling mom! You deserve it.
