My children are excited to go back to co-op and see friends and start new classes. I cannot think about this too much but I have to say it, for the record: this is my son’s last year in (home)school. He is a senior in high school this year.
He drives us to co-op as he has for more than a year now. What will happen next year? You mean to tell me I have to drive again?
As you might imagine, I have a lot of mixed feelings about this school year: the last year with my son at home as my student, the last year with two in homeschool, possibly the last year at this particular co-op. We make decisions from year to year. Yes, we really like this co-op, but there are so many other options in the area.
My daughter and I start another co-op tomorrow, for the first time. The other co-op specializes in art and drama and my daughter wants to explore those art forms. Our son will be at home, working on his dual enrollment classes, while my daughter and I attend this other co-op. It’s exciting to start something new and meet new friends.
